UEFA Champions League - 2nd leg

So today is the big deciding day for UCL fans. Che-Liv and Bayern – Barca. Both the matches, the latter unlikely given a thought last time, will be spurring. Let me tell you, Barcelona are already on the top of the table above Real in La Liga. Guys, they are haunting, and they are awesome. Messi deserve much more better titles than last season, then being under-covered by our lovely CR7.

The former match is gonna be the nerve breaking one, coz probably almost everyone knows the fate of the Bayern – Barca fight.

And then tomorrow we go for much hard core fight with Manchester United facing the fiercely Porto, who to everyones delight provided a shock in the first leg. This is something every Man U fan would look forward for.  And who cares about the Gunners and Villa. LOL.

Hail United :-)

Are Manchester United done?

I apologize for the Man U fans for the title itself. I apologize to myself, coz I consider myself a huge Man U fan.

But guys seriously, except the heroic goal from Macheda vs. A Villa, consider Man U's last 4 matches including the UCL. Though Porto were no under dogs, but we deserved to win a goal over them. The game was fantastic no doubt, but a draw???

And what about the earlier two defeats in EPL? If you see the entire game till FT, you will understand the frustration in the team. Ronaldo, not hitting as he used to in the last season. And Tevez missing on a couple of chances too. Do not forget guys, that last season was a flick of luck added to the hard work of the SAF's team. This year though I see the hard work, the stroke of luck is missing. I wonder what would this bring in store for us for UCL as well as EPL.

All I do is pray and watch every match biting my nails and underlining my statistics and observation. But to be frank, I won't be more than surprised if Man U misses to win the cup this season taking into consideration Liverpool's exotic form. (not to forget the smashing slap Hiddink's Chelsea gave to Rafa…. Wow…… I more than loved it ….)

Glory Glory Man Utd. :-) {Wow!! What a diversion from the title of this blog to this line ;-)}

After all a true fan never betrays,

Whether the team wins or loses.

; coz form is temporary, but class is permanent. Guys, please don't freak out if you see the same punch line in my yet-to-come blog about Sachin Tendulkar.

Looking forward to the 2nd leg as well as Sunderland, Wigan and Tottenham.

Do I hate coding now?

Now-a-days every time I sit with my application for just analyzing the new implementation work, I sort of feel like why am into development. It, for a matter of fact, gets on my nerve to understand each and every possibility of Dutch language in a code way.

There were days, when I was so proud of being into development. I was so happy coding then, but here it seems to be a lot more than herculean task even to break the jinx.

I really hope that I break it someday, or else I am screwed up royally. Or probably I need to devote more time, concentration and interest to it. Or is it that application is that tough that a newbie (yes, 3 years of experience is a newbie to understand these kind of applications and this type of code) like me is twiddling to even stand on my feet after a considerable amount of time.

I need to give it a thought and work on it, as I really cannot ignore this.

Happy Birthday !!!

Growing a year older is no longer a beautiful thing. Today, I turned 24 and I have figured out one thing that I am really growing up. Not just physically, but emotionally as well. Cutting cakes at 12, having birthday calls at midnight doesn't fantasize me anymore. Is it what growing wiser and according to me boring is? But I tend to love this feeling, coz of the matter of the fact is that you need not expect more. As I always used to say – Disappointments are for those who make appointments with the future.

So tell me guys, what are the craziest things you have ever done on your birthdays. When I was out from home, I used to cut cakes, get bumps and used to bathe with b**r, have loads of weird snaps. And this year, when I am back at home after almost 3 years, I do miss those feelings, but I do not actually miss those things.

Someone was right, brain has a grow up period. And I am afraid, if it has a grow up period, it rather has an expiry date too.

Happy birthday to me. Cheers :-)

Hard Rock Cafe

This is indeed a wild card entry. Having more blogs of higher priorities in my to-do list, I skip all to reach this.

It happened on 4th of April in Pune. Venue: Hard Rock Café. Place: Koregaon Extension Park, Pune. And let me tell you, worth every penny spent and shred.

Well there were many catalysts to this incident. A much delayed visit back to Pune, a hard core rock fan, a hard core b***e fan. :-)

It all started at 6pm or something, and we were headed to Euphoria concert, but somehow I managed to convince everyone to skip the concert plan and head directly to HRC. With awesomely gigantic bouncers and minimal entry fee (along with cover charge) we all got our hands stamped.

Being at the entry there is the Rock Shop. We had a quick glance and I bought an awesomely weird fitted Green Day t-shirt and steadily moved inwards. Initially struggled our ways to find a seating place, but it was at the wee hours we decided that we made a decent decision by not seating.

And then the fun began, when spirit ran down us and chicks ran down on the floor. Sooner the entire café was full of babes and heavy rock. It was AWESOME. The bartenders showing some amazing skills at rolling fired bottles and the troupe dancing on YMCA. It flabbergasted the fun within us. Its wasn't much of time, when the more popular tracks from Metallica, Iron Maiden rose up to the public to witness the yelling crowd. With choked throats and a title for my next blog, we managed to leave the place at around 1200.

HRC was founded in London by Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton in early 70's. It was frequently visited by Eric Clapton then, who then gifted an un-signed guitar - the first gift of over 70,000 gifts by many rock musicians, guitarists and well famed people. The collection of guitars, jackets, outfits of many great rock stars displayed all over HRC is a diamond in the eye.

It was worth an experience, and I am planning to visit more of HRC's in the coming time of my life.

Life is not always the game you wanted to play

Hello friends,
Wish you all a very happy April Fools Day.

Being born in this wonderful month, thought I should somehow celebrate this auspicious day, so I am sitting back after my strenous day to add some bytes to my 'modified' blog. Yes, you read it right, I have modified my blog - added a website hit counter to it. I also got my blog copyrighted :-) Will keep on enhancing from time and again as I get into leisure.

So let me get back to the title of this blog. Yes, life is not always what you wanted to be. I call this 'Life's negating theory'. But more to that later, coz this theory needs much more than just an awkward reference. So according to this theory, whenever you want to do/say something you cant do it. Coz it then becomes morally or ethically incorrect. And when you are asked to do the same thing, you are least bothered for it, coz its not the same thing again. Same thing happens with me. When I desperately want something I will surely not get that. And when i get that, I dont actually want that. Coz, what I think is there is an appropriate time for every single thing in life, and once it is gone, IT IS GONE.

Life keeps many feathers in store. Some you might like and some you may dislike. But this is most of the time independent of you. To be simple, may I say that YOU and your LIFE are two opposing entities which quarrel all the lifetime and the end one dies. And most of the time, its only you who die; not your life. It lives in others, your friends, you families, your blogs, etc.

You want to play a game of football and the same day should you knee be broken due to some accident. You want to date a girl and the same day you are to get a pimple on your face. It happens. Life always has something in store for you which you never expected. And my suggestion you all guys - never mess with your life. Live it happily. Play the game of tennis too even though you expected a football game. That is life :-)
